Fine ballpoint pen with retractable lead, using the unique texture of brass. All surface parts are solid brass, except the clip which is plated iron.
Each brass piece is meticulously crafted by skilled artisans in Japan. There is no transparent coating to appreciate the patina of time, use, and environment. Oil and air will naturally darken this piece and make it shinier. This is part of its natural beauty.
If brass parts are exposed to water or moisture for long periods, the metal may change color more quickly or become stained.
Thus, each piece passes through the years without deteriorating but rather evolves and develops a patina through use.
