The 錺 (KAZARI KANAGU), a type of metal craftsmanship, is often used for Buddhist worship objects. The nib of the YSTUDIO fountain pen, made in Germany and in 14-carat gold, is of unmatched quality.
The pen is adorned with the distinctive character "龍" (which means "Dragon" in Mandarin) and the YSTUDIO logo delicately engraved. After multiple rounds of hand polishing, the pen embodies a remarkable spirit of craftsmanship.

THE ARTIST KAZARIKANAGU TAKEUCHI
Naoki Takeuchi
Born in 1982 in Kyoto, Mr. Takeuchi is in charge of the production of the family business - KAZARIKANAGU TAKEUCHI, which is primarily engaged in the production and repair of decorative metal accessories for Buddhist altars, shrines, and temple hardware. In 2020, he launched his own brand "錺之 KAZARINO" and, in the same year, he became the director of representation for Takeuchi Co. The brand's slogan is "Decoration has a mysterious power," which aims to help people live a happier life through decorative accessories, and to continue developing further applications of Kazari Kanagu in various fields.
ITO METAL SCULPTURE WORKSHOP
Established around 1920, this unique manufacturing workshop is located in Nagoya, Aichi Prefecture, Japan. It specializes in the handmade manufacturing and engraving of gold-plated scissors and is one of the few workshops of its kind that still exist in Japan. The current owner and representative is Mr. Mitsuhiro Ito, a third-generation successor.
Mr. Ito was born in 1943 and joined the family business in 1965, where he apprenticed under his father, Mr. Kinjiro Ito. Since then, he has been working diligently behind the scenes, contributing to the production of metal components used in traditional Japanese Buddhist altars, religious articles, shrines, and temples.

USE & MAINTENANCE

Simply wipe with Brass Polish for the brass to regain its original shine. Without any surface treatment, we hope that each product can retain its individual marks through the constant use of its owner.
RECOMMENDATION REGARDING INK
