Experience the texture and feel of natural wood. Japanese cherry is characterized by its color reddening over time, allowing you to enjoy the unique transformation of your pen. The surface is treated with an ink-resistant finish to ensure functionality without compromising its natural touch.

Nowadays, opportunities to write by hand are limited. Focusing on the simplicity of the dip pen, KAKIMORI has developed a range of interchangeable nibs and nib holders. Versatile and designed for regular users, this collection is a new writing instrument suited to our time.

This is a nib holder designed to fulfill the desire to create a lifelong instrument that brings joy to our hands and soul. From timeless material to comfortable thickness, as well as shape and length, every detail has been carefully considered to create the perfect fit.

USAGE & CARE
  • The nib holder will reveal the true color of the indigo over time. If it dries out, apply a little beeswax.
  • Friction can cause color or wax transfer.
  • To prevent fading, avoid soaking the nib holder in water, sudden temperature changes, and prolonged exposure to sunlight.
  • Due to the nature of the material and its treatment, color and grain may vary from piece to piece.
  • If ink gets on the wood, clean it with a soft cloth.
  • When removing your nib, pull gently while twisting to prevent the holder from coming loose.
  • After rinsing, shake well downward to remove all water or ink before inserting the nib.
