Lee Gu-rum, for example, recounts that she grew up spending a lot of time in nature with her family, especially since her mother ran a flower shop. Yet as an adult, her work as a graphic artist kept her so busy that she spent all her time behind a screen, far from nature. Fortunately, she had several indoor plants nearby that helped her make up for this lack of nature. It is first and foremost within their plant creation shop in Seoul, located in the heart of the inspiring and lively Seongsu-dong district, “Seoul’s Brooklyn,” that Lee Gu-rum and Jung Woo-sung help their customers fill up on nature. It is also in this studio that they work on various conceptual projects around plants, such as the “Ark” project which starts from the hypothesis that all nature would need to be moved into an ark to save it from earth contamination. The brand also creates many plant decorations for film sets, events, or shops of major international brands.

Bottling nature

While getting plants to decorate one’s home is not very complicated, it is more difficult, and sometimes very burdensome, to care for them.
