This stamping changes color depending on the angle, just like the city of Tokyo which shows different facets. TRAVELER’S notebook uses vegetable-tanned cowhide leather. This process makes the leather more sensitive to stains and scratches but is more environmentally friendly and offers an authentic patina. 

Over time the leather will change appearance and the scratches will remain as memories and this notebook will become more precious than ever.

USAGE & CARE

• The leather used for your TRAVELER’S notebook is finished with oil for a soft and smooth touch. Please note that slight stains or scratches may be present on the cover. The more you use your notebook, the darker the color will become. The darker it gets, the more discreet the scratches will be. 
  
  
• TRAVELER’S notebook can be used without special maintenance but if you want to hide scratches and prevent the leather from drying out, you can apply special leather cream. We recommend testing first on a less visible area of the cover. 

• A natural dye is used to color the leather. If your notebook gets rain or sweat, the color may rub off on your clothes or bag. Be sure to wipe it with a soft cloth and let it dry in the shade. 
• Do not use water, benzene, or thinner on the leather. Before storing it, remove any mold, dirt, and sweat and place it in a dry area.
• Also be careful not to stick it to other leather or vinyl objects. 

• The holding elastic adjusts simply by moving the position of the knot.
