CHIPS - OCTAGONAL CUP AND SAUCER – ANCIENT POTTERY SERIES

The cup has a flat rim and an octagonal base, while the saucer features a curved eight-sided rim.

The contrast between the delicate shape and the raw glaze – which almost evokes a different material – is the highlight of this piece.
The set is light, easy to hold, and the saucer can also serve as a small plate, making it a very practical duo.
The brass color offers a matte shade and a texture reminiscent of old metal cutlery: it’s hard to believe it’s ceramic.

With each use, the color gradually evolves under the effect of oils and acids, making this piece a true "living object" that develops a patina over time.
It’s a shade that one appreciates seeing change over the years.
Another advantage: it highlights the colors of the dishes and ingredients you serve in it.

THE ANTIQUE POTTERY SERIES

Old or artisanal tableware often fascinates – but it can be expensive, and many hesitate to actually use it... In the end, this admiration often remains theoretical.

The antique pottery series captures the subtle details of old or handcrafted pieces, while being made of sturdy stoneware: a very practical ceramic suited for modern daily use.
This product was designed in collaboration with Mino potters, using the materials and techniques of the region, with the wish to make refinement more accessible.
This tableware could well be your first step toward a long-nurtured dream.
