Perfectly Imperfect Metal Nib Brass - Perfectly Imperfect Brass Fountain Pen

The brass nib shows areas of premature rust due to acid cleaning during the production process. This is an aesthetic imperfection that does not affect the quality of writing. Enjoy a variety of line widths ranging from fine to broad by tilting the nib. Fits most fountain pens as well as those in our range. Please refer to the compatibility chart.

*Point only — fountain pen sold separately.

Brass will develop a natural character and a patina with use. Enjoy the unique transformation of your pen.
The pen offers an exceptionally smooth writing experience that defies expectations. Tilt the pen below 45 degrees to explore a range of line widths – create wavy strokes or lay the pen flat to paint.

USE AND MAINTENANCE
The initial ink flow may be slow due to the protective coating on the nib and will gradually improve with repeated rinsing and ink applications.
The maximum writing angle is 45 degrees.
When you remove the nib from the holder, pull it out gently while turning it to avoid dislodging the nib support.
A strong impact on the precisely crafted nib can compromise the ink flow.
To prevent the buildup of dry ink in the grooves, rinse frequently with water during use.
To remove stubborn dry ink, gently rub with water using a soft toothbrush.
If you use a detergent, a neutral pH detergent is recommended. Avoid alkaline detergents as they would damage the surface.
Brass will develop a natural patina over time.
