Born is the Ocean Sustainable ballpoint pen, a creation born from love of the sea.
Using abandoned fishing nets from Taiwan, it takes shape. On the ocean theme, five colours represent the fascinating hues of the sea throughout the day.
YSTUDIO explores the variations of the ocean’s colours and ripples, writing the passage of time and highlighting the different moods of your daily life.
The Ocean Sustainable ballpoint pen takes its name from Taiwan, surrounded by the sea on all sides, while also reflecting the source of its material: recycled fishing nets. Like the ebb and flow of the sea, we aspire to inspire people’s passion for life through a diverse range of colours.

With a commitment to lastingness, this pen is made using:
1. Fishing nets recovered from Taiwan.
2. Using recycled ocean nylon can reduce carbon emissions by about 83%.
3. Ensures the highest environmental standards, with raw materials passing EU RoHS and REACH certification, also meeting the global recycling standard GRS.
4. Using brass components with low lead and nickel content, ensuring lead content is below 0.01%.
5. The outer packaging is made from FSC-certified paper, promoting responsible forest management.

USE AND CARE
To ensure the longevity of your pen and keep it in pristine condition, please follow these care instructions:
Exposure to sunlight: To avoid slight yellowing of the plastic parts of the pen body, it is advisable to minimize prolonged exposure to direct sunlight.
Exposure to alcohol: Although alcohol generally has no harmful effects on the human body when using the pen, it is best to avoid long-term exposure to prevent any potential damage.
Regular cleaning: For daily care, use a dry cloth to clean and preserve the pen’s appearance. If the pen is dirty, a simple wipe with a damp cloth should suffice.
The front end of the pen body is brass; its colour may change over time due to different conditions of use and storage. Please note that any colour change resulting from oxidation is harmless. If you prefer to restore the pen’s original look, you can use brass oil and a thick paper towel to gently wipe the surface, effectively restoring the natural colour of the brass material.
