Postalco Design Office was founded by Mike (bag designer) and Yuri (graphic designer) Abelson in 2000 in Brooklyn. They are now settled in Tokyo for about 10 years where they work with Japanese methods and know-how to develop their products.
Postalco’s products are created to be used by anyone – male or female, young or old, people from all walks of life worldwide. What sets Postalco’s designs apart are their supreme utility and ineffable warmth blended with the beauty of understatement.
Mike wanted to create for his wife Yuri something practical to carry around her A4 size papers. That modest beginning led to the founding of Postalco. Their approach is still the same. They make the most commun objects more functional and beautiful.

Each horn piece is shaped by hand before being joined to the brass hardware. They are therefore all different in shape and color. The contrast of the 2 materials makes it a very precious and warm object that feels good to hold in hand.
