WHITE MONO WALL CLOCK
A round clock frame, 12 indicators, and hour and minute hands. These clock elements have been designed from a single element, which is a black line. The black indicators and hands are arranged, with a comfortable tension, in the empty white space of the round frame. The MONO clock indicates the time silently and fits well in a simple and modern space or on a white wall.
DESIGN : YUICHI NARA
Born in Tokyo in 1977. In 1999, he graduated from the architecture course of the construction department at Yokohama National University. Moved to Italy in 2000. Started designing after a period of working in a glass workshop and in an architecture office in Venice. In 2006, he graduated from the University of Construction in Venice. During a trip to Noto, Japan, he was so impressed by the richness of nature and the way of life that he decided to return to Japan and settled in Notojima. In 2007, he established the Noto design office. By studying local materials, learning local techniques, and applying them to his work, he attempts to design products that enrich daily life. Alongside his design activities, he also cultivates rice in a rented rice field.
