ORIGIN
TAWASHI brushes were discovered over 100 years ago in Tokyo, Japan. Until then, a straw bud or a rope was used for cleaning.
TAWASHI means a hand brush without a handle, made from natural fibers. The hemp palm fiber wrapped with a "TAWASHI" wire is the invention of cleaning. Since then, KAMENOKO TAWASHI has supported Japanese households.
